either 2v2 multis or free for all where its 1v1v1v1 technically (even though its 2 on one side 2 on the other) . like that shofu & duncankneedeep do .

or facebook fan pages of pokemon X/Y in which they have about 20k members and are actually quite active. Just type in the search bar and type in either Pokemon X/Y Battle & Trade Community or Pokemon X & Y Friend Code Exchange are the two higher population ones.
