so ive had my wii for couple years now and no problem at all...
i was in a muilti game in cod black ops 1 on wii and when we entered the game i noticed right away it was hacked, because ppl were jumping (Flying) around map and doing crazy stuff on there...
now i dont friend randoms anymore and dont like to play in games where u enter and u see that u have infinit ammo or that jumping thing hack etc, and will just exit out right away, because i ended up getting my profile hacked to -2billion cod points right after i had prestidged and couldent open up anything ... figured was someone on my f list ( a random )...
so i started a new profile and started to not friend randoms due to that incident... seemed to work cuz even in muilti games where there was a hacker in it it ( which seems to be every game lobby nowadays ) did not seem to do that ever again since i stoped just friending anyone and everyone...
But back to my original issue..
so i entered the game saw ppl flying around and thought fuk it im bored whats the worse that could happen .. so i went with this one... half way thru the game MY SCREEN GOES BLACK and a message says something around these lines.. eject game and restart the wii, game disk can not be read plz resort to ur wii operations manual for help.... WTF
wii would not shut off manually at that point btw ( had to unplug it )
after plugging it back in the wii is saying the exact same thing black screen and resort to wii operations manual... so i go to bed like wtf idk what this is about but w.e ( thinking it would not be like that the next day
so i get up put cod in and at the wii menu where u click to play the game and push start to what ever disk is in there ... it just says disk can not be read, resort to ur wii operations manual ....WOW
so i try my other games, and all the same thing -- disk cannot be read
so i start to do some googling about this issue about cod wii black ops 1 black screen wont read disk... sure enough get a thread on nintendos page all the way from 2010 ppl are having issues with cod and it doing this... WOW Then its not just a coincident ... its lots of others too and with this specific game .. all have had no other problems untill bam this shit that i just described happened to them....
heres where its really fuked up from the research i could gather up... my wii wont do anything but play netflix now... and also it will play game cube games ( im told cuz i never ever played a nintendo game cube ever ) but it wont play ANY wii games since that has happened...
ALL the response ppl keep getting from nintendo basically is that they are saying NO NO NO that cant happen with a game playing, and u just need a lens cleaner blah blah blah ANY and EVERY excuse in the book to try to get u to believe that that is just not possible...
by the way might i add that every solution that the nintendo staff or techies said to do lens etc ... everyone of them guys tried all kinds of things they said might be the problem .. ppl bought lens cleaners.. ppl bought like 60 $ new harddrives for it ( or w.e it is the wii uses ) they did every thing that they were saying might be the problem.. and to no prevail none of those solutions worked
there last and finale solution to this after all was failed and some ppl were like no dude i just bought my wii like 2 weeks ago it cant be what ur saying... it was the game... as 1000+ ppl are having the same issue including me ...
so there solution was, well send in ur wii for 85$ and we will repair it for u...... Fuking really
But ppl have even sent it in for the crazy 85$ and got it back... then the comments from thos guys were ... game played for 10min and did the exact same thing black screen dosent play anything etc..... again WOW!!!
Right now its looking to me like a money hungry nintendo company scam ( kinda ) let me explain... its like they know this is a issue with there system ( and this game ) and instead of trying to fix it or even activision ( black ops ) doing anything about fixing it... HEY LETS MAKE A SHIT TON MONEY ON THESE PPL GETTING FUKED OVER WOOT WOOT... tell them to buy cleaners, & hard drives or send it in for 85$... and tell them its not the game it is impossible for that to happen .. as they rub there greedy lil fingers over ur hard earned money...
Heres my question to u fellow cod players ... Has this happened to u or a friend before? if so do u know y? like was my wii system hacked cuz it was in hacked game or just that a hacker in ur lobby or ally friends list can just hack u anyways rather ur in a game or not... ( example ... everything was groovy when i played and then i woke up the next day to my profile being hacked to -2 billion cod points ) <-- like that can they just hack u out of game or was it that this happened due to i did not leave that hacked game and he/she hacked my system and pretty much fuked my wii?
last but not least... my friend in real life, i explained this too him what happened and his response was that someone was hacking my wii system and they were trying to get like ur credit card info (like if u bought wii games online from nintendo in the wii shop ) etc...
he also said that when i get a new system ( which i am taxes are cuming this week ) to get a playstation 3 or something cuz playstion has something like for every 10 systems there is 1 person assigned to those systems to watch over them to make sure no hacking shit is goin on with those systems so basically if u do get hacked they can tell and will fix it etc... sounds good right... he also said that wii use to have this going on but they stoped doing that... thats y ppl are getting hacked left in right now on the wii!! ( money money money )
its all speculation right now, cuz i dont know what to believe right now cuz everyone thats had this issue obviously were playing cod black ops on wii and this happened BUT they DONT know why it happened or how ... so im still stuck here scraching my head.. wondering if my wii is forever fuked and how this really happened... ( i bought the wii used during xmas at game stop for 85$ 1 year ago ) thats y if it is fuked and needs to be repaired (if that even helps ) im not spending another 85$ on a system i got for 85$ especially when i think they know that this is a issue but they just want ur money and wont try and fix this and make excuses of what might,... let me repeat Might be going on ......
If anyone thats had this issue or know anything real about what really is going on or what really happened to my wii plz respond ... would like some info on what happened and how or if i can be fixed... tyvm
