I want to buy a used 3ds. I need to know what's up with the eshop account first :o

Is it console bound? If the console has purchased games on it, will it stay? Will I be able to use the eshop account and buy more games? etc

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to purchase more games

the account is console bound but it can be transfered to another console, so if the previous owner made the transfer there should be no games left, if he didnt the game is yours ^^

(btw Nintendo sells refurbished 3ds' for pretty cheap, around 100$ for a regular one)

Yeah if he doesn't transfer the games, you get them but I don't know if you would keep them when you link your own eshop account to it

also if u buy a used 3ds through nintendo or a lot of places, they will wipe the hard drive clean
