What the fuck..seriously... am I the only one who sees how absurd this is?

130$ 3ds for 7yo coming out at the same time as pokemonx/y
doesnt seem that stupid to me from a business standpoint
but it does look retarded

They are also basically saying "yeah that 3D thing kind of failed, our bad" which is terrible from a business standpoint.

uh you should look more into it, all 3ds games will still be made to have 3d, and in order to reach the price point of 130 they HAD to remove the 3d screen and the normal DS design

with the amount of 3ds sold each week we can say it's not really a fail as a product at least but yeah weird design and most of all really bad name,i guess they shot themselves in the foot with "3ds" and that didn't leave them much choice for the 2d version of it.. xD

its for kids under 7, since 3d isnt good for non fully developed eyes
not like they're dropping the 3ds/3dsxl

although id prolly be getting this one if my 3ds somehow stopped working, simply because i hate 3d and price is so low

its also a lot more sturdy, not a whole lot of moving part (an other clue its being marketed to young kids, its now flat, so kids cant snap it in two)

This is literally the fucking worst idea ever.

for the record i'm pretty sure you can set a parental thing to turn the 3d off completely
