i dont know what games to buy anymore

these are the types i like:

final fantasy/golden sun (played pretty much all)
pokemon
bomberman
any mario game
any horror game, like resident evil
trace memory

what game suggestions could you give me?

yes got nds xl so no 3ds games

dungeon already played

ill check out of the other two!!!!

both are great make sure to don't miss out on the world ends with you ! for me this was one of the best ds games

Pick up any of the games in the Etrian Odyssey series.

If you enjoy Golden Sun's turn based combat, Etrian Odyssey 1/2/3 is pretty much a must have.
