Will the 3ds be able to play with the wiiu version?

Aboout a year ago they said there would be at least some sort of cross compatibility, but we don't know the details yet. 3DS players playing against WiiU players seems kind of unlikely though.

im almost positive you won't be able to play 3ds vs the wiiu.


the levels aren't all the same between the two and think the characters rooster isnt even going to be the same. Plus people playing on the wiiu would crush the 3ds players.

I wonder what the cross compatibility will involve. Hope it's more than just a way of unlocking stuff, because I can already see certain levels/trophies/extras being unlocked only if you have a copy of both games.
