I've tried 1964 and Project 64, 1964 keeps crashing on me and with Project 64 my character moves too slow while everything else moves at a normal pace making it really hard to do anything. Any suggestions? I've been looking around and that's all I see that are suggested as some of the best but they both give me problems. I'd like to have the games myself but I just don't have the money to buy them atm.

Could be the Rom, I've never really had issues with Project 64, works well and has a built in gameshark.

What game you trying to play?

Hmm maybe. I'm playing Conker's Bad Fur Day atm. I got the Rom off coolrom. But the thing is I'm using the same Rom whether it's with Project 69 or 1964 so I don't know if it's the Rom or not.

Holy fuck i was going to change some settings but it would take me an hour to get it.

Turn of TLB unmapping or some shit like that, use glide 1.7 is what google told me. Best bet for you is to change your settings around until it works.

P64 needs a plugin to make some games run smoothly.

Rice Plugin works for most games, but there are other ones (nrage, jabo, etc. iirc). Shouldn't be too hard to google.

I've never had a problem with Project 64 :/
I have a plugin I think called Glide 64 but I'm pretty sure it was for texture updates because it was impossible to play Paper Mario without it lol.

Also needed it for one of the Zelda games.

whats the computer you are running it on? if its super old you may find some issues. but any semi recent comp should handle it. i've had no luck with a few games, like snowboard kids 2 =/, even when i tried every single plugin for each type that i could find, all with settings for performance
