I feel the same way, SNES and N64 Starfox games were awesome, the ones that came after are at a much lower level. I remember Starfox Adventures as a boring furry love story, not what I had expected at all :/

Back than when the Internet wasn't really alive and I was young I was so excited for this game as I knew nothing about it just that it was starfox. It was my first game and I didn't even end up beating it. It wasn't terrible I guess... It just wasn't starfox.

Also no falco it the game wtf?!?

I enjoyed it *shrug*
I'm not going to agree with some that said Command was the bringing back to roots though, lol.
There was three same type gameplay for it: Kill the enemies pointed out, spin through the Kantina's big boss ship (How would suicidal barrel rolls kill an enemy?), and the main boss battles.
Real exciting and back to roots ofc.
But in the end, they could have said "No" and been remembered for giving the great games they had before MS got their hands on them. (Compound the fact that even SF:Adven wasn't even a complete game, which he admits even in there)
Another reason, which people tend to skip over, is that Rare was dragging their ass making Dino Planet, which was another reason they scrapped that (And they even dragged ass on SF:AD which is why above^ was produced)
And they haven't made a "reboot", they just made a port. :/ Same game.
But from what I can gather, typical Krystal hater offering his opinion. Always funny. (Maybe even more of a Dino planet fan, which only adds to the lawls in the end)
But really, I do not see where DP would have been a hit.
It remind me of what they had in mind for Conker before CBFD:

Ya... Cause first planned game are always epic. lol

yes, Command was terrible... neither of them were good imo

as for DP, can't judge what it was going to be like, but I was never much of a fan of 3D "quest like" plataformers
