Ive been lookin around for somee way to " mod " my 3ds and they were the inly thig that i found.

From what ive seen they are about 20 or 30 bucks.

Supposedly, you are able to put any ds rom you want on it an play it straight from the cart

Also play music videos and ebooks etc,.

I just dunno if i wanna take the chance on pirating, and maybe nintendo will actually "brick" my 3ds . ( prolly not )

What do youu think ?

Still havent heard anybody say theirs got bricked altough nintendo say they can, so maybe a future update will enable them to or something

r4 cards will only work with ds games as far as i know even on 3ds

also its illegal to talk about this and you should buy your games

idk about music, but I've seen youtube videos with people having NES/SNES/GB/GBA games in there aswell as DS games.

tbh I've been tempted to get one because of this, I'd love to buy SNES games from the eShop, but since Nintendo doesn't offer them (at least yet) and I own an origianl copy of almost every SNES game I'm interested in, it wouldn't really feel like stealing from them.

but the whole thing about Nintendo claiming they can brick the 3DS is what's keeping me back. I really don't know if they can brick it or not, but I really don't want to loose my Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS, so I'm not taking the risk.

I do, that's how I fight the urge to get one of those flashcarts lol, but it would be nice to have them on a portable (I spend a lot of time on the subway/train/bus, so it would help me kill time), I wouldn't mind buying from 5 or 6 SNES games I know I'd play often from the eShop

hopefully, someday... honestly, I don't understand why they aren't adding more stuff on eShop, I read they made a lot of money with some games like Link's Awakening

perhaps it's something to do with investing time/money into having the games adjusted to work on the 3ds?
