hey guys i tried connecting my 3ds to my internet las night for the first time and it says its not acessible because the password on my router is a wpa2 key rather than the normal wep passcode

is there anyway around this?

says that kind of password is incompatible i think dont really remember

did you try manual or tutorial?

seems weird since the 3ds does support wpa2

manual connection should let you chose you security type

ill try it out

manual didnt change anything

did you get to the security types menu? i find it kinda hard to reach, you have to make the connexion (it will fail in your case) and then you can edit this connexion and change security type

how do i do that

Once you've entered your password it will test the network, then you'll get an error message. Just press ok and go back to the menu where you have your 3 different connexions listed, go back on the one you were trying to make and from there you should be able to edit it
