Hi, I have a couple problems connecting my DS lite to my router and I was hoping some of you could help me.

Here's the full story: My girlfriend just bought a DS lite and one Pokemon FIRERED and one Pokemon LEAFGREEN GBA games.
So far so good, both games work perfectly. But now she would like to trade pokemons from one game to the other one.
So a friend of hers gave her her DS lite. So now she has 2 DS Lite and 2 Pokemon.

Here's the problem. For some reason, it is impossible to connect the DS to the router. I have tried everything.

I have tried scanning to find the access point, connecting to it (Automatic Connection). But everytime I get an error code.

I have tried Manual Connection using a Static IP Address, but once again. Some error code.

I have even tried using the AOSS function of the router and DS. The thing just keeps loading and never ever finds the router.

I am getting pretty freakin pissed off by this situation and I was hoping some of you might've had the same problem, and hopefully, a solution to all this.
I will restart the whole process and post exact error codes in the next post in a couple minutes.

Thank you, hope someone can help!

EDIT: Wow lame mistake... I've been stuck 2 days on this. My router was using WPA security, while ds need WEP security...
Still is there anyway to make the DS work with WPA keys?

EDIT 2: Wow fail again... You can't trade from one DS to another using GBA games... This is so retarded. Any other options besides getting 2 GBAs and a cable?

Actually, leafgreen/firered had wireless things that came with them (Didn't say if those were still with them though).
I don't believe any DS has a port connection for it, so ya, you will need two gbas.

to connect with ds, you have to change your internet's security.

change it from WPA(2) to WEP

and then you can connect.
