just got heartgold with a friend, havent played any pokemon games since emerald.

anyone have a good pokemon for my 6th? im thinking :
Crobat
Venasaur
Bellossom
Gengar
Yanmerga

Crobat gives you an easy win on every freaking team in the game, don't take it lol.

Somone told me that, tried it, and blew my mind.

A Crobat the same level as a dragonite will EASILY stall it or even physically destroy it because in-game AI's are trashy when it comes to defeating it.

80/80/80 defense arent really that good (i mean its good, but not ''EASILY stall a dragonite good'')
and if you're talking about lance's dragonites, 2 of them have 120 base power SE move against crobat and the last one can just 2hko him with outrage


crobat isnt an offensive threat nor a defensive threat, its just a pokemon you use to gain momentum


so yeah, pretty much any pokemon that have decent defense can do the same thing as crobat INGAME


i mean in the list he gave us, yanmega and gengar are a lot more useful/gamebreaking/powerful

i just lold through the bosses in the game with ninjask/breloom


if any of you know competitive gen.4 you know what im talking about

i know the metagame from gen 4 and dont know what you're talking about (my guess is some kind of baton pass play)

ofc

guaranteed spore with ninjask speed boost

since no 1 sleep clause, you just spore everything with your sub to take the hit when they wake up lol
