pokemon is sucha a big franchise now, I'm not sure it will ever get old...

growing up in the earily 80's thats what we said about the cartoon like GI joe, tmnt, power rangers, etc

they went threw so many reboots that those shows sux now

i see this is going to happen to pokemon soon

maybe... but Pokémon is most likely the 3rd biggest franchise in Nintendo right now (after Zelda and Mario, which will forever be out of reach), if they keep protecting it, I doubt it will ever die. Or at least completely die, they might end up focusing the franachise towards Pikachu... like the DK, Metroid or Starfox games, even if they decay they still get their own games every now and then and have characters that always appear in spinoffs, cameos, etc. I think Pokémon has reached that status
