i guess now we can all shut up about the timeline, no more speculations! yay!

/e: also for people who dont know, hyrule historia is an official book about zelda history, made by nintendo, which i will be getting when i comes out in NA

Link Failing in Ocarina of time is not a legitimate ending to the game..so that kinda kills the last one, which means that those games would be legends told under the knowledge that they are not true

it is a legitimate ending, each time you die in ocarina of time means ganon wins

I thought "split 3" was the continuation of OOT's timeline.... then in Link to the Past Link would be the Uncle that dies at the begining and a new Link (his nephew) would continue the adventures.

Link can't fail in OoT the sages say it's his destiny to defeat Ganon B)
