I just finished Pearl and I'm looking to buy a new game.
I didn't like how I had to fill the entire sinnoh dex in order to see some of the older pokes.
any games out there with a mix of new and old pokes throughout the story?I went from crystal to this so yeah I'm clueless.

The only newer ones that have old+new pokémon through the story is Heart Gold and Soul Silver, which obviously are remakes of gen 2 (like Crystal). If you don't mind a GBA game, then check out Emerald. It's by far my favorite game, but a lot of people don't like the world it's set in, so yeah. It's gen 3, so one step back from pearl, and one step ahead of crystal.

Ruby > Emerald. Fucking gay Water Elite four leader. Was easy with Blaziken in ruby.

You prefer Ruby/Sapphire over Emerald because an E4 trainer has different Pokémon?
