I'm leaning more towards Goombario myself, as the massive Charge + Multibonk combo could wipe out pretty much anything in the game.

Anyone else?
Thoughts?

edit: and did uber dmg vs fire

double edit: if it was best parnter it'd be goombario

since as you said that combo owns anything

watt since it was the only partner that could pierce defenses, which was really helpful in the late stage of the game
