thinking of re buying a wii and softmodding it cuz its easy as tits


who here has a softmodded wii


and if u dont..why not? every game for free..plus it can run nes,nes,n64,ps1,sega genesis emulators and much more

I don't because I am lazy beyond belief.

I do, i still buy most of my games but i download the ones that i dont think are worth the money

i have over 2000 roms on my pc so that is my main reason, i want a console that is easy to mod, cheap and can play roms

and wii seems most appropriate..plus i can finally be able to play supermariogalaxy2

actually modding them past the homebrew channel and homebrew apps seems kinda tricky..

i've gotten to the homebrew channel and thrown on a shitton of emulators/dvd player but i'm kinda afraid to take it any further because i don't wanna fuck the thing up when trying to install a cios

Theres a lot of tutorials that explain everything step by step

though if you are on any firmware past like 3.4 it's supposed to be incredibly risky...
unless there have been drastic changes to the modding scene since my last attempt.
