is there one that is preferred or is there a top of the line one out there?

i use snes9x for solo, zsnesw for online

Id just get a real snes.

whats the diff for solo and online?

meaning single as in solo and online as in multi?

well zsnes is a lot more simple to play online with, but i just like snes9x more

both are very good tho

well u shouldnt worry about online then, just get snes9x since the interface is a lot more simple (imo)

but both are fine, some ppl prefer zsnes cuz it looks cooler, i like the more simple interface and the easier save stating of snes9x

but yeah, both are great emulators

This for sure, I think 9x doesn't have rewind and stuff, making Zsnes a bit better imo though.
Even tho 9x saving is a lot easier and you won't load your freaking old saved game instead of saving sometimes (I do it, or used to do it quite often)
