I liked the "Sacred stones" (i think it was called) for the GBA

I finished the game a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it way more than the handheld ones, I don't see a problem with Fire Emblem games on a console, if anything it allows for better graphics and deeper storylines.

My only complaint is that you can't reload the game from the battle screen. Make a false step with Micaiah and suddenly five minutes of your life are gone.

/e and the first part is retardedly difficult while from the third part and on you're more or less on cruise mode. Weird.

I only dislike 2 small things on RD,

no flashy animations like FE7/8, and so short time with DBs

I feel like everytime I'm on Endgame my chars are finally getting up and ready, only to be overrun by laguz in the next usable chapter -.-

Laguz characters are scrubs. I don't think I bothered leveling up any of them, except the Herons and Kurth on the last chapters because I didn't want him getting 1-Ko'd.

Laguz are awesome
on my challenge run (laguz only)
Volug supported Micaiah and had resolve and saviour. he lvled to lvl 40 in 1 chapter (AWESOME)
and with Nasir next to Skrimir pwned the goddess to a single digit to let Ike finish her off.

My Laguz only run is by far the most fun (the Hawks, Volug and Skrimir are the better Laguz in this game)

if only they could get formshift in some way

I don't like playing with laguz because a) Only a handful have formshift and halfshift is awful They don't wield weapons so I can't spend 10,000's forging weapons for them. Though I guess Olivi Grass/Laguz Gems are their "weapons" but eh.

I'm contemplating doing another run with female characters only, but I'll need to do that while I'm out of both work and school since I can see myself resetting the game a lot of times so I don't get RNG screwed.
