Alright, I've always been a fan of Marvel vs. Capcom, and most of the successors after that, and I pretty sure I want this.

My question is though, should I rent it first or just straight out buy it? If they did a really nice job with it and it's a game with a lot of play and replay value I'd rather not spend $6-10 renting it when I could just own it for ~$20. But if it's not that good, I'd rather just rent so I can try and deny.

Again, anyone who happens to see this and has experience with the game: I have gamecube controllers already, is it worth getting a fighter pad controller?

If you are used to NGC controllers etc, dont buy it. But if you got a gamepad controller for PS3 SSF for example, go for the fighter pad.

Yup, but the game was made to be used with a pad, and if you use a gamecube controller you have to use analog... Which shouldn't be a problem for anyone who's pretty accurate with their analog movements.
