So I have my ds connected to wifi, connection works and everything, I try to look at my friend code to post on here and it says I need to connect to WFC. It connects on the home screen but not in game? Help please.

TLDR: how do I connect to wifi ingame?

This. Then you configure your network for the specific game and you should have no trouble getting online
