using an R4, does the online shop work?

The online shop, DQVC is accessed at the inn in Stornway.
Basically every 24~ hours, it updates the list of items from a 'master' list. From mini-medals to Miracle Swords to Chronocrystals.

You use ingame gold.

I got the best items (legendary armor, soul invictus gloves, infinity trousers, boots of beatitude, and heavenly helm) with the help of my brother and friends but man...for some odd reasons...i'm having a really hard time (or we are) with the weapons (not uber falcon sword, feels like i'm abusing a glitch whenever i use that)
