Which Acekard-type cartridge would be best for the new DSi XL?

I planned on picking up: http://www.r4-ds-card.com/shop/m3i-zero/m3i-zero-for-dsidsi-xl-plus-4gb-micro-sdhc-memory-/19198

Apparently it's backwards-compatible too? It just seems pricey, so I might get: http://www.r4-ds-card.com/shop/m3i-zero/m3i-zero-for-dsidsi-xl-compatible-with-the-1.4-/19196

Or the real cheaper alternative: http://www.r4-ds-card.com/shop/r4i-gold/r4i-gold-plus-4gb-micro-sdhc-memory-card-/19188

Ideas? Input? Which would be better, the M3 or R4...or Acekard?

I honestly am not very familiar with DS XL flashcarts
but from my experience I went cheap on my flashcart for my DS Lite, and it turned out to be shit...

it looks like the R4 is the new "Cheap".

I'm considering the m3i card, but some say it's not updated often so that bugs me

What also bugs me is the fact that for you to update your acekard 2i to 1.4 firmware, you need another ds lite/dsi at a lower firmware (say, 1.3) to do so, and that I do not have access to.
