so many options for him, each special move could be a djinn of each type, or some could be a djinni others some universal synergy, can use summons, then his obvious melee tactics, although they would be a bit simplistic, and perhaps like a 1% chance to cast megiddo on every single melee hit 
edit: on top of megiddo maybe throw in excalibur and other unleashes to make his melee pretty awesome and unpredictable Never played golden sun, so your first paragraph was like reading hieroglyphics D:
But he seems cool, and yeah, I wanna see Spyro and/or Crash Bandicoot and some DBZ character in the next SSBB
