Well i'm pretty sure the CD is only there to make it easier, you can prob download the driver to make it work somewhere else.
What you'll need is a "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter" which from what i quickly read it's not mac supported. (you should google it to make sure).
I also use a mac and what i did for situations like this, is to install windows on your mac using Boot camp (a program that comes with newer intel macs) and/ or Parallels.

Boot camp and me have had a 3 year fight
its been on my comp for a very long time i jus cant use it cuz the cd key i was suposed to use for the windows side exspired
so if i do that
i need a new Windows XP Cd Key
