With no access to monsters from other games.

What should I use as my BF team?

Here is some things I wanted to use I need a suggestion for a third that would help cover others weaknesses or would be in your opinion best type of addition to the team:

Special Wall / Sweeper (I guess?):

Gardevoir @ Shell Bell
Calm Mind
Psychic
Toxic
Protect

EVs: 136 Def / 136 SP Def / 172 HP / 20 Speed

Salamence @ (Open to suggestion Left overs atm)
Aerial Ace (Stab and Never misses)
Earthquake
Flamethrower (Very highly thinking of switching to rockslide Asap)
Dragon Dance

EVs: Not trained yet (Bred for 4-5 generations for IV superiority Multiple perfect IV's)

Third?

Salamence has a 4X weakness to ice (Pretty much instant kill) Rock x2 Dragon X2
Gardevoir has a 2X Bug 2x Ghost 2X Dark weakness

What covers for all those well and still would be a worthy addition to the team?

Since Gard should be a great SP wall especially when minded and decent defense and have 320 HP and chance to renew life each time it psychics due to shell bell..and Sally is going to be my Physical attacker and can tank hits not of its weakness pretty well too / can't be hit by EQ and attacks that you need to be on the ground for..Should I go for a physical wall? Mixed sweeper?

Possibly a Skarmory Phys wall that Phaze's could be nice.

Correct, BF has certain limits.

Only one item of a single type.

No doubles of pokemon.

3 pokemon teams for the most part (3 chosen 2 in actual fight per round on battle..tower? I'm thinking)

Certain "Ubers" aren't allowed.

Skarmory has 2x weak to fire / lightning btw

Immune to poison and ground and resistant to buttloads of stuff.

If I used a skarmory w/ Spikes / Roar (or Whirlwind) / Aerial ace (Can't miss & Stab) / Substitute

using item left overs..it could seriously screw up some stuff.

I'd have to switch what mence uses as a hold item though.

Furrets stats are terrible.

its only really useful as a monster that depends on prediction and choice banding.

absol is only really useful as a Baton passer..can't use it either ^_^ (Since then DD on Salamence would become pointless)

defensive CM jirachi could work, pretty much resists everything you mentioned.

and I don't think that Gardevoir set would really work lol, it just gets raped by any Dark type

Also, shell bell sucks, lefties would be a better option.

Not really, all I need to do is switch out to a non weak to dark type and destroy it.

come back w/ Garde and continue to wall shit.

Problem is i'd loose my CM's but meh thats just something you've gotta do when you run into a weakness.

I do appreciate you pointing out with no other coverage dark types can't be hurt by psychic though..I never thought of that. (However in Battle Tower this would still work since you get to see opponents pokemon choices before picking your two pokemon. and just not use Gardevoir in a match where dark types pose a threat.

Right now I switched up team to

Gardevoir @ Left overs
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Will o' Wisp

No Ev Training, Modest nature.

Salamence @ Shell Bell (Someone suggest something better and i'll be happy to use it)
Flame Thrower
Earthquake
Dragon Dance
Aerial Ace

No EV training, Adamant Nature

Metagross @ Quick Claw
Agility
Explosion
Earthquake
Meteor Mash

No Ev training, Adamant Nature

I deafeated Pike queen lucky for silver badge with it easily.

Gardevoir OHKO'd Seviper, Sent out shuckle second..So I wisped it till it hit, then psychic'd twice for the win. 30 life left, Bolt'd Milotic once. Died brought out Metagross (because salamence is 4x weak to its ice beam and asleep..) Earth quaked twice while tanking a surf ftw.

I want to stop using salemence I think though..Idk why its just not working out for me.
