I haven't had my wii for over a year now, because it stopped reading discs and I've been too lazy to get it fixed.. but I'm getting another one friday (still having the old one fixed as well) and I was just wondering if nintendo has fixed the lag issues that I used to see in brawl a lot, where certain people would lag like hell when you played with them and other people it would run smoothly. Is this still a problem? thanks.

I was really hoping they'd have fixed this. I'm more of a ssbm guy, but the online play in brawl is still fun when it doesn't lag like fuck

The "With Anyone" mode kinda sucks for it, but private games are totally fine if you have a good connection with the person.

Well I always used to do private games, and I would still get lag with some people, even if we were both on good internet.

Yeah, some people have really good connections but they just don't mix well together, the distance between you and where your opponent plays a bit of a role too. I have a friend in Europe who I can't play against cuz it lags too much.

Well the friends I play with normally are like within 7 miles of my house, so I don't think distance is a factor.. it's just weird :/

Then either your connections aren't very compatible, or one of you has a weak internet. Are you both wireless internet?
