I heard acekardi is the best and that r4i sucks... no extra info to back it up though.

ackard2i...i got the 2.1 myself and i know 2 people with acekard 2i and they all work

and i only here good things about acekard..and its cheap

I have Edge Ds works great was not expensive and runs everything ( games homebrew movies music)

i have the itouch 2 for my cart. Its amazing works perfect. And you can real time save whenever you want to, but on some games you can't activate it because its buggy, but on most it works :).

I bought an r4.. so did 2 other friends.. works perfectly, never had a problem, it's amazing.. too bad I never play DS though.

no new firmware
and most of the games for r4 have anti piracy so you gota do a lot of patching and crap
