So guys, I got a Wii for more than half a year now but it's sitting in my living room for quite some time since I just don't know which games to get for it.

I've played Okami and Twilight Princess and that was it. I just don't know which ones to get now. I'm not necessarily looking for popular games. What I want are awesome games I just can't miss. My playtime is rather limited, and I can only afford to play the truly awesome ones. I used to be a hardcore nintendo fan up to N64 but now I just lost track of good nintendo games.

I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thank you :)

tales of symphonia 2 dawn of the new world was quite good imo
fire emblem radiant dawn was also really
i recommend getting the prequels for these which are on the gamecube
also i've heard resident evil 4 is pretty good as well (haven't played it but recently became a fan of the series)

well its popular, but Metroid Prime 3 is the best single player game on wii imo

Resident Evil 4: Great 1-player game, very difficult.

Mario Galaxy: Won game of 2008, and for good reason. I'd definetely pick this up.

Super Smash Bros Brawl: I'd DEFINETELY pick this up, amazing party game.

Mario Kart: Wii: Awesome offline + WiFi. Good fun.

Super Mario Strikers Charged: Fun ass game, great WiFi.

Super Paper Mario: A bit of a change from the first 2 Paper Marios, but I still love it.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Insanely good game.

Wii Sports Resort: An awesome game that just came out. Lots of fun mini-games, great 1-player and multiplayer.

Mario Party 8: If you like the Mario Party games, then pick this one up.

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess: Awesome game.

Wii Sports Resort: An awesome game that just came out. Lots of fun mini-games, great 1-player and multiplayer.

this is kinda fun for the water, and air sports on it. I just got Madden and I'm still not sure how I feel about it or not :(
