Is there a better flash card for ten dollars? I already have a spare MicroSD card. What do you guys think? Is it worth the extra money to get a flashier flash card? I currently own an R4DS, but I'm selling it to a friend.

The only other option I considered at the time of purchasing my R4DS is the CycloDS Evolution. It's still the only real competitor that I can see, but I can't see paying 4x as much for it, when it doesn't really offer much more than the R4DS does.

Yes, I am aware that there are a lot of fake R4DS cards out there, and I have already alerted the seller that I will return the card if it is not of the quality of my old R4DS. I am also aware that there may not be any more firmware updates for the R4DS, but I can't see myself needing much more than it already has to offer.

dont go r4..so many fakes and can really mess up ur ds

get the acekard ..its hella cheap and its GREAT quality, ez to use and lots of awsome features..im inlove with my acekard

I just bought two $10 R4DS cards. If they're the same as the one I currently own, I'll be happy. If not, I'll send them both back and probably order an AceKard. Thanks for the tip.

if you want the best one for a regular ds go cyclods
its kind of expensive if u want a cheaper one i suggest using a edge card same features as the cyclods but the microsd sticks out

they went out of business so there are no firmware updates and what gramkracka22 said, there are a lot of fakes that might screw up your nds but some might not
be careful with r4s XD

i own the acekard 2i 4 my dsi and have no probs got whole setup less than $30 works great so far

I ordered two R4's at 10 dollars each. They also came with two MicroSD to USB converters. One of the R4's and one of the USB converts is faulty. I'm sending it back to get it replaced, and when I get my replacement, I'm going to resell it. I'm looking at buying an AceKard 2 now.

From what I could tell, the two best are AceKard 2 and CycloDS Evolution. The only things the CycloDS has over the AceKard 2 are the ability to slow down NDS games, real time save NDS games, and open a text file WHILE playing the game. The text file feature really stuck out to me, because I like having my walkthrough handy. Oh well, I'm pretty sure the AceKard 2 will be fine for me. I'm probably buying it from someone who has a spare laying around, if he'll sell it cheap enough.
