the type of link-sys connection i have for my DS isn't compatible with my new DS's WFC connection type.

i was wondering if there is a patch i can get anywhere for my DS to allow the connection type i have to work with my WFC?

by the way, i have the newest version of the M3 DS Real so if there is a ROM anywhere where i can get the Patch for this --if there is one-- ? i use romulation for my regualr ROM's, so if you could just inform me of the title for the patch, it'd be great.

There is no patch for this. Its your router that is using a different Security Mode that DS's WFC can't connect to. The Security Mode that the DS's uses is WEP. Change your routher connect to WEP and this should work when you try to connect to it with the connection password you use.

i knew that my router could change from WPA to WEP (although i have no idea what they are or mean) i just can't change the WPA to WEP because the modem my router is attached to can't handle WEP. thanks anyway, anyone think a patch will ever exist for this type of thing?

i mean that if i switch my router to WEP my modem will no longer be able to produce teh intarnetz i need for my regular computer

Buy a new router/modem.
