I know little about it, I just know it allows you to play backed up games and it voids your warantee.

Which chip is the best? Are there solderless chips? How do I know what firmware my wii has? Which firmware is compatable with which chips?

cannot "soft mod" if you have already updated the software, I dont think. If so send me some info via pm please.
