I myself think that he should be back to OU, based on the fact that he doesent even get Drangon Dance. And with DD Salamence is = or even better then Sword Dance Garchomp.

What do you guys think?

Idc honestly... for me any non-legendary isn't uber.

Well, Garchomp is the only non-legendary to ever be commonly considered Uber. (other than Wobbufet, but that's not even fair.)

Yeah, I totally understand why wobbuffet is there
but I honestly don't care if I have to vs a Garchomp

Garchomp is ezpk... take him into OU

I mean shit, one ice attack vs Garchomp who is Ground/dragon = 4x damage.

You could say that about Salamance, Flygon, Dragonite but it doesn't make a difference, the reason why Garchomp is uber is because of his beastly attack/speed with a fairly accomodating move pool.
I say keep him in uber and the OU is perfect already

Garchomp is uber because with a yache berry and sand veil you have to carry at least 2 fast users of ice attackers, or ice sharders, and even then sand veil can let him live.


Not to mention he has a huge amount of versatility, ScarfChomp, SubSD, YacheSD, ChainChomp etc.

Yea, good point yashe Chomp in a sandstorm is beast. but nt enuff for him to be in uber.

It doesn't look like some people are convinced.

I say we hold a tournament with Garchomp allowed, and let them see for themselves.
