I havent played any of these games besides Zelda.

Is mario/star fox/wind waker, and double dash worth checking out?

Mario Sunshine and The Wind Waker are definitely worth looking into (Wind Waker especially). I haven't played Mario Kart Double Dash, but I imagine it's good for multiplayer.

Star Fox is decent, but it could have been a lot better. Rare were in the process of being bought by Microsoft when they were making it. I don't know if that had any effect on the game.
