after looking at my joystick for an hour and messing with it...i looked this up...and it seams to make sense....im gonna try this with gorrilla glue and see if it works...
if anyone knows any good ways to fix a n64 joystick plz pm me? ive been trying to figure this out for a long time.

i went into my better joystick and i have found two problems that you need to fix to fix the joystick....the first one is the hole in each of the black peices...they are much wider on the one that is loose....i am going to try super glue first and if that breaks off i will use some steel patch to fix it for good...the other problem is that bottom of the stick like said in this link...same thing...little steel patch will fix it up i assume...gonna do this when i can get sum.
