What game do you guys think is better? Im sure ill get both, but which one 1st? I havent played pure rpg since..hmm....F.F 8? Ive looked at both game vids on youtube. Which didnt really help me decide which one to get 1st.

tales of symphonia has minimum 25 hours of game play, just running through the story line, maximum amount of play is 60 hours + more, if you are looking to beat it 100% (sidequests and items, etc). It has a unique battlesystem, which is like final fantasy i guess, but you actually control your character, it really is amazing.
A++ game for me, for more details you can always just google it

I'd also like to add there are more GRADE shop purchases at the end making a second+ playthrough more exciting, and you can change the difficulty of battles at will.

Fire emblem is fun, but theres more flexibility with Tales of Symphonia and alot more play time for Tales.

Yeah definitely. I've completed the game 4 or 5 times because of that (and enjoyed every playthrough).

I would personally say to get Tales of Symphonia too. It's a great game and I have had many hours of enjoyment from it. The game uses a real-time battle system, which makes it a lot more fun (it plays a bit like Smash Bros). There are plenty of sidequests and other things to do. The story is very good IMO (there are a few twists and turns). My only complaint would be that some of the characters seem like they're aimed at young teenagers (their voice acting can be a bit over-the-top and some of their lines are a bit cheesy). It's not really that big of a downfall since the overall game is so great though.

That's not to say that the Fire Emblem games aren't great too. I love them too. You're getting both eventually though, so it doesn't really matter anyway.
