You guys played this? I love the Wii controls too, passing and shooting and fighting on the Wii is genius. The wii is designed perfectly for things like that, it makes it just about as real as you can get to playing the sport with the wiimotion controls.

i hate how there are only a few good dekes when you shake the nunchuk and youCANNOT MANUALLY AIM. that is the worst. I always pick corners and go top cheese in 07 but i got this and it was sad. its still fun though.

Yeah, but with any game, there are only so many dekes that are going to work anyway. And think about any sports game, or even sports in real life, there are only a few dekes or moves that are going to work in certain situations. I'm having a lot of fun with the controls actually and haven't noticed the accuracy problem, I don't think it's that bad actually.

i like 09 way better. but its good because there are no other hockey games for the wii atm.

I figured out how to aim man, you gotta aim the wiimote where you want to shoot. That means you're going to have to keep the wiimote aimed at the screen and move it to the region that you want to shoot. I'm loving it man, I think it's the most natural way to maneuver your stick using the wiimote and the motion controls.
