when you turn it off its supposed to be red.
When you put it on ''hold'' it stays conected to wi-fi but it's off.. its strange. its in standby, while still receiving info from wi-fi. Light is yellow
to completely turn it off Hold the power button ON THE WII. like 10 seconds (yeah it takes some time) and light will become red.
To connect to wi-fi go into home page, setting, wii settings, and ther should be a setting wi-fi
configure and you'r set !
