well, i sold my gc along with my memory cards, altho, i know regret selling the mem cards as i cannot unlokc/save games on melee, brawl isnt out here yet so i play that lol
but , jw, do u HAVE to use a gamecube mem card to save the gamecube games? or can u use a sd card or w.e

you need the old memory card, i had the same problem ( europe so its not out either) and i had to buy another memory card just for ssbm, worth it ofcourse.
