only reason wiiu has more exclusives is because it came out like a year before the other consoles and the other consoles aren't even ouut

Look at all those games that aren't coming to wiiu. Ea has pretty much abandoned Nintendo, ubisoft is even starting to back off.

that thing is old dude, also for many games the wiiu version was announced later on which means even though those games arent announced for wiiu they might still come at one point

also EA said at one point they werent making wiiu games anymore but more recently said they had some stuff in store for it, same with ubi they backed a little but still said they'd support it

once big nintendo titles come out they'll start moving more systems and 3rd party publishers will come back

You don't understand that the number of systems sold isn't the problem. Wii was the number one selling console last gen and all the third party developers ditched it bad. It's because the "hardcore" gamers don't get a wiiu for those big third party games. All the third party games get cast aside for the big first party nintendo games. Only nintendo games really sell amazingly on nintendo consoles. It is already like that for the wiiu.



You see all the big multiplat games this e3? Kingdom hearts 3, FF15, the divison, diablo3, assassins creed 4, metal gear solid 5, saints row 4 etc. etc. None of them are coming to wiiu

i don't like those games anyway but a bunch of 3rd party games still did pretty well on nintendo platforms but they need to be good

right now on 3ds the 7th best selling game is monster hunter tri (and you can be sure mh4 will beat the crap out of it sales-wise), kingdom hearts also occupies the 10thplace iirc, ubisoft also made a crapton of money with justdance on wii
and EA also rode the Wii wave pretty successfully with around 16 million sellers on Wii

edit: let's not forget Resident evil revelation which sold much better on 3ds then it did on ps360 even if the game is a quality product, there is money to make on nintendo platforms

I didn't say it gets NO third party support that do alright. If the game is marketed right on it, then yes it has potential. But when you look at big games like Tomb Raider for eg that come out on pc/360/ps3. If they do happen to come to nintendo console, they barely make enough money off the wii version to turn a profit.


The big third party games will continue to sell more on sony/MS platforms. (also revelations was pretty much exclusive for the first year on ninny).


Just not worth their while to make it for wii/wiiu and they have pretty much said themselves.

it has been exclusive for a while yes but it's on a console which a much smaller install base (30 million right now vs 75 for xbox360 and ps3) and it's not the kind of games with great legs like Nintendo games which can pop up in the top 10 most sold weekly a year after they came out

i think it's a question of being able to offer what they want to your customers

the new characters look great! especially the villager and megaman, the trainer looks okay too

i find it funny as hell after watching the developer direct she might be alright

Sakurai has always had a sense of humor in the games he produces so I am not surprised. He did Game and Watch and ROB and I won't even touch on the crazy shit in Kid Icarus Uprising.
