He meant like, he needs one of them to set up sand for Gliscor ;)

ER

Typo, I meant to say Tyranitar makes a good partner for Gliscor.

Here's an NU Team that I've been working on. A LOT of thought has gone into this. It aims for a Cradily sweep while providing as much team support as possible.

Quote (NU Cradily Team)

Hippopotas @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Defense / 240 Special Defense
Nature: Calm
Ability: Sand Stream
- Stealth Rock
- Yawn
- Toxic
- Roar

Sets up Stealth Rock and whatnot. I went with a bulky spread so that he could survive longer, which is very possible with all of the support that the team provides. I've been considering running a Focus Sash, 252 Attack EVs / Adamant an Earthquake over Toxic, so that I'm not Taunt-bait.

Cloyster @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Defense / 252 Special Defense
Nature: Impish
Ability: Shell Armor
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Shard
- Payback

Cloyster! Went with a Specially Defensive spread so that he could take more advantage from both of the screens. Spikes, Rapid Spin and a Priority move are all very important to the team. Payback is nice to hit Ghosts that try to block Rapid Spin super-effectively.

Sableye @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Defense / 136 Special Defense
Nature: Careful
Ability: Keen Eye
- Will-O-Wisp
- Knock Off
- Recover
- Night Shade

Sableye's pretty awesome. Blocks Rapid Spin, and a bonus of having no weakness, thanks to his typing. Provides Will-O-Wisp and Knock Off support, aswell, which is always nice.

Wigglytuff @ Leftovers
EVs: 32 HP / 224 Defense / 252 Special Defense
Nature: Bold
Ability: Cute Charm
- Wish
- Reflect
- Seismic Toss
- Perish Song

Wigglytuff provides Wish and Reflect support. Cute Charm could also come in handy, in certain situations. Perish Song is there, just incase I'm not able to kill their last Pokemon.

Meganium @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Defense / 96 Special Defense
Nature: Calm
Ability: Overgrow
- Leech Seed
- Light Screen
- Aromatherapy
- Energy Ball

Meganium provides Leech Seed, Light Screen and Aromatherapy support for the team; all of which are very important. Energy Ball over Grass Knot because most of the Water, Ground and Rocks in NU aren't that heavy.

Cradily @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Defense / 252 Special Defense
Nature: Careful
Ability: Suction Cups
- Curse
- Recover
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

BEAST. Cradily is near unstoppable if it's able to set up, which isn't a hard thing to do, with all of the support that he's getting. Since I have Wish and Aromatherapy support, I can bring him in early to mid-game if I want. It's also impossible to Roar / Whirlwind him out, thanks to his awesome ability! Assuming that he has 1 Curse, Light Screen and Reflect are both up, Leech Seed is up and Sandstorm are up; he has..
  • 376 HP, recovering 18% after each turn
  • 297 Attack
  • 520 Defense
  • 699 Special Defense
I've been considering a Life Orb over Leftovers, since he already has Recover, Wish Support and possibly even Leech Seed. The extra power without sacrificing bulk would be pretty cool.

Only thing I don't like, is Sableye, but I just don't like him personally.
But that Cradily looks kinda scary :(

Eh, I had no choice there. The best Ghost in NU to block Rapid Spin. :(

Use a Dusclops? He can make shift what Dusknoir does in OU.

I need the Knock Off support and one-turn recovery move. Dusclops would be good if I didn't need those, though.

If you're using a Sand Veil Gliscor I suggest using a Tyranitar or Hippowdown partner and if you do switch Stealth Rock off of Gliscor as Sand Veil is pointless on a lead if there's no sand storm. You could use a Hippo lead with SR, then use a Swords Dance Gliscor as a late game sweeper, with Sand Storm activated you have some evasion increase, and if you really wanted, you could toss on BrightPowder

Seems alright, but it also looks like you just assembled a quick team of OUs. Can you explain what each pokemon does for your team?
