Are you dumb?  Do you not understand what technique is?  The most standard technique in SSB is juggling...

fighting games are ALL about technique.

And in case you're dumb, which you seem to be, technique and combos are not the same thing.

ok so technique for you = juggling?

jesus christ you really are dumb.....

juggling is a technique...it doesn't mean that it's the only one...

technique in brawl can be SIMPLY defined as anything you strategize against your opponent to increase their percentage while limiting the rise of your percentage.

That's why I said the simplest form...

It's a fighting game....technique is anything you do to win..juggling, keeping them on the edge, range attacks, dodging, down to each and every attack you use in a situation.....etc

If you're only enjoying a couple games per  system you shouldn't even play video games.

I'm the type of person who waits for certain types of games, or very high quality games.

While I do like the occasional Zelda game, I do not like mario games etc. And since the Wii has no 3rd party support, I only have a few games for it.

I, myself, love rpgs, and especially ones that can be played for long periods of time (Fallout games, Elder Scrolls, MMOs, etc.). The only "RPG-ish" game to ever come out on the Wii that I enjoyed was Monster Hunter Tri. Tales of Symphonia was ok, but was inferior to even the GC version.

As for other consoles, I tend to own more games for them, and enjoy them more. But now that Nintendo is creating ANOTHER next-gen system, Sony and Microsoft will follow suit. This will mean I will have to buy whatever next-gen system they come out with that will only have a minute jump in capabilities over the current gen.

THIS is the main reason I am raging. There isn't enough of a technical leap in system performance yet to warrant me having to buy another console. But I will still have to anyway, since the developers will move onto the new consoles...

And when I was speaking of only owning one or two games, I was talking about Nintendo consoles. Wii, DS, GC...each system I have only bought maybe 3-4 games each. Nintendo just doesn't have the same library of games that it used to.

im not talking about what you should do to win a game, im talking about stuff you can learn to do correctly that will give you an advantage over new player, other than knowing all character moves and being able to hit at the correct time

not talking about mind game here

im talking about technique like L-canceling and DI

they removed most of those from Brawl, which dumbed down the game a lot

so this+ completely removing combos from the game so newbie dont rage quit = worse smash game

im not saying its a bad game, all im saying is that for serious player, ur better off learning how to play ssbm or ssb64 and that ssbb is aimed @ casual players

Supports every genre, yes. But the best developers tend to target the other systems. As in, most of the third party support Nintendo gets is from smaller third-party companies; mostly unknowns.

vouch, nintendo as always had a hard time with 3rd party developper, so if ur not into zelda/mario/metroid and co, theres no reason for you to get a wii
