I'm so upset. YES smash has online capabilities. YES, it uses friends code. NO, they're are no rankings (except maybe only against your friends). YES, you can worldwide. But the fact of the matter is...the online is going to be sub par. Nintendo needs to adapt a much better online system if they want to continue to dominate the next gen console race.

When you play people online that aren't on your friends list...the wins/loss ratio isn't recorded, and you can't talk to the opposing player(s). When I heard this, it destroyed me. I thought this game was going to boost the wii's credibility a shit load...but no. It makes me look down on the wii.

When you do play your friends it keeps the stats and you can see how YOUR friends are doing.

Anybody care to add to the crappy online system Brawl will have?
