power ups make it exciting

People have had games for longer then that and can still learn new stuff/techniques.

Items/Power-ups/final smashes would be disabled if I had one.
It shows how good of a players you are w/o them.

the ones that do, the others just play those garbage overrated fps such as black ops and reach and they hate the gc controller they like the classic

like i said on brawl you play for fun and competively with power ups on melee you cant














and ssbb has more to offer such as replay value subspace, 540+ hard to get trophies, challenges, music
