worked quite a bit on this character, been getting some results at the weekly tournaments in my area

i'm not super fond of that match though, lots of unsafe approaches, predictable roll patterns and risky off stage stuff

I am jealous, there isn't really any scene in my town (small town)

Nice, i wish i could participate in smash tournaments (dont expect to be on top)

But i always like to play competitely i might participate in a tournament in august my friends keep telling me there is a smash tournament in otaku events.

about a 30 min drive to a real city. Once sf5 comes out in a month, I am going to try to find a scene or start one in this dinky town and play sm4sh as well assuming anyone does.

It's super fun. Honestly, i can't recommend going to these events enough.

I think it has some faults

-mandatory wiiu gamepad use for 2 player local play and 30fps
-if you want to play at full 60fps, you need two wiius/tvs/games to lan them together for optimal gameplay.
-potentially shallow combat


asside from that, I think it looks hella fun. Given it plays similar to dbz/naruto games, hard to say if the combat will be indepeth enough for long term competative play.

waiting to see what smash 4 people in my area say about it, consoles arent super hard to come by thanks to the community

if someone buys it day one and brings it to a weekly i'll try it and see for myself, not sure i wanna drop 60$ right away and be dissapointed

never really played any FG outside of smash but i'm definietly interested, pokkén has the advantage of being on WiiU
