(Sure it doesnt matter as much on a Nintendo console but I personally like chatting with friends even though we're playing different games.)

because everyones sitting next to a computer when they play a console

ventrilo/teamspeak/mumble/skype are made for pc gaming, not console gaming
the fact that nintendo cant even include something like that in 2012 is a joke

i almost always keep my laptop with me when i play on my ps3
back when i was still in ontario my computer desk was right beside my tv
if you place it nearby it can be used for console gaming too

im not saying you dont, but usually ppl dont buy a console to play while they're sitting next to their computer

don't really need to sit at the desk just get a headset with a long enough cord so you can sit where you want in the room
or in my case i just have a laptop with an amazing built in mic so i don't normally even have a headset

It would be easy for me to do something like this but it wouldnt be as convenient.

I mean, if this console really is stronger then current gen they have no excuse.
