i dont think sm4sh will stick around for long
diddy is just way too strong and way too easy to win with (roll, grab, dthrow, uair, rinse and repeat)

hopefully some high level player comes up with a way to counter this cuz it was scary as fck

its fun to play casually, but it is not a competitive game

IT IS NOT A GAME YOU CASUALLY PLAY. it is a game you try to master , to beat the crap out of the other guy/girl when u play online or classic mode at 9.0.

now you tell me how it goes playing casually and getting the 9.0 classic done

the grand final was mostly boring because nickriddle wasn't able to force m2k out of his game. If some viable approaches are discovered to counter that kind of play, there should be more to playing diddy than hoo-haa-ing

some matches were actually pretty entertaining imo, i just hope it won't always end up like the final match did, this shit gets old pretty fast xD

I'm 100% with doyek on this.

Sm4sh is crazy casual mode. It reaches a point where there is such little thought process and it just becomes this defensive flowchart of no options.


game doesn't even come close to melee/PM, sakurai himself has stated he doesn't want smash being competative and sees it as a party game and he designed it that way
