It's ONLY good if you're gimping someone who's freefalling, but not a lot of people should be in that position against a Mario.

His spin was 10x better, and if it was like SSBB Luigi's, it could help Mario's awful recovery.

he can still spin but only in the air, i prefer the water gun still cuz its an auto death if you catch them before they reach the edge

yeah, and it's utter shit. Luigi's down B is 10x better. And no, it's not an auto death if you catch them before the ledge. If they still have jumps or a Special move recovery = win.
And Mario's garbage as it is.
