Brawl online with anyone may be bad, but it doesnt matter in a melee vs. brawl argument because melee didn't even have online.

Just turn off final smash.
Shitty physics make no sense.
Melee had "infinite chaingrabs" also.
No hit stun - deal with it.
No combos - basically the same as no hit stun.

IC wobbling is worse than infinite throws in melee. And IC's have the optional downthrow - dair infinite.
What about the Sheik vs. Bowser matchup? Some matchups are unwinnable in melee at a competitive-level, even without infinite chaingrabs.
And, there are a shitload of chaingrabs in melee. Marth's grab range could allow him to grab with about a character-length gap inbetween the two.

I will admit, King DDD is a chaingrabbing lamesauce, but you could always counterpick him. It's only on 6 characters.

All in all, no offence dude but you seem to have a pretty decent knowledge of smash and seem like a pretty competitive player in both ssbb and ssbm. Then why do you play brawl, when melee is more fun in gameplay.

I don't quite have anything against melee. I prefer brawl though.
Partly because I don't want to have to devote my life to learning turnaround-waveshines. I would have to learn them if I were to continue to play Melee competitively or else I would feel I'm not at the top of my game. I'm not Silent Wolf.
Second, all of my friends and I prefer Brawl.
And my smash region is all about brawl, we wouldn't ever hear of a melee tourney around here.
IMO, brawl is more fun, but melee is great too.
