hammers for stun there good
great for 1v1s and teams
bowgun awsome for teams
sword and sheild decent but need to be good for 1v1s
switch axe jus fun rlly not that great
longsword best weps
lance great weps in general
great sword decent but meh

best is actually the lance.

the ls is the fastest however.

You got a lot wrong here.

Hammers: Best KO weapons, high dps if on head
Bowgun: Best status inflicter, low dps, great part breaker
Sword & Shield: Weak, unless you use an element the boss is weak against.
SA: Strong, but not as easy to use.
Longsword: Excellent for solo play, however, if you play in a 4 player room, they'll hit you constantly, disrupting EVERYTHING.
Lance: Great DPS, good at inflicting status, great for aiming.
Greatsword: Best tailcutter, huge damage if gear is right

Agree with all though with the Bowgun you need good ammo for cuts which can get expensive.
